Detik-detik In Yokohoma ===>> The Best Team

Barca IS The Best Team

Yeahhhhh akhirnya FCB juara lagi Piala dunia antar Klub untuk kedua kalinya. Senangnya melihat Klubku menang lagi.

The second day of the President's trip to China was dominated by his speech at the University of Beijing, where the massive reaction of the students served as a clear indication of the Club's high profile in the Asian market. More than 4,000 students had applied for tickets to hear Sr Rosell's speech in the main hall of the University, but in the end only about 400 could get into the packed hall to hear him and discover more about the Club's current situation and their intentions to expand into China.
There were also questions about the Club's plans to strengthen football at grassroots level in China, with Sr Rosell stressing the importance of the campus the Club plan to open in Beijing in the near future. As to the chance of Sunday lunchtime kick offs – which would suit the Chinese TV market – President Rosell pleaded for understanding of the members' traditional habits of coming to the Camp Nou in the evening –preferably after a family lunch. However, the President did admit that if the TV operators or the league authorities required it of them the Club would schedule a game at lunchtime.
Visit to the Olympic Stadium
Another important appointment for the Club party was the visit to the Beijing Olympic Stadium, better known as the Bird's Nest Stadium, to ratify the recent strategic collaboration agreement with the Beijing Council owned company Inter Sport to promote the Club's image in the Chinese market through events such as the sporting campuses due to be set up over the next five years. The Club representatives were met by the Sports Department of the Beijing Council who presented the President with a scale model of the Olympic Stadium.
The day finished with an informal get together with correspondents of Spanish and Catalan media outlets in China.

Commercial and institutional ties to highlight Rosell's China visit

From the 25th to the 28th of November, President Sandro Rosell will lead a FC Barcelona delegation to China to strengthen commercial and institutional ties between the Asian country and the club

Thanks to the recently signed agreement between FC Barcelona and Inter Sports, for the next five years Barça will host a sports campus at the Beijing National Stadium, the Bird’s Nest. “We want to establish a permanent link with Chinese society,” said Sandro Rosell after signing the agreement with Inter Sports, a company owned by the Beijing City Council. This was the first step in an ambitious project aimed at establishing more direct ties with the Chinese market.

FC Barcelona hopes to deepen its relationship with China during Sandro Rosell’s three day visit to Beijing and Shanghai. Sandro Rosell will be accompanied by Vice President, Javier Faus, Technology Directory, Dídac Lee, General Director, Antoni Rossich, and Commercial and Marketing Director, Laurent Colette.

Attending the Chinese Foundation Disabled Persons (CFDP) Gala

FC Barcelona will also be present at the Chinese Foundation Disabled Persons (CFDP) Gala. The CFDP is a foundation that works with more than 80 million disabled people in the Asian country, it’s led by Deng Pufang, son of the late Chinese leader, Deng Xiaoping. The event, an annual fixture since 2004, is televised by CCTV and airs during optimal viewing hours. Sandro Rosell, who will be seated at the presidential table, will present FC Barcelona’s donation for the benefit auction: jerseys and footballs signed by FC Barcelona players, a pair of football boots signed by Andrés Iniesta, and four tickets and travel arrangements to Barcelona for a Champions League match.

The CFDP employs more than 200,000 workers throughout China. Since its inception, with assistance from the Communist Party, local governments and both national and international aid organisations, the CFDP has collected more than 50 million euros in donations for disabled people throughout the country. The Chinese foundation effectively improves the lives of disabled and less fortunate Chinese people, especially children.

Meetings with the Beijing and Shanghai mayors

The day after the CFDP Gala, Sandro Rosell will meet with Jinlong, Beijing’s mayor. The following day he will meet with Mayor Han Zheng in Shanghai. Sandro Rosell will also meet with the Chinese minister of education to see how FC Barcelona can encourage sports among the Chinese youth, a proposal that links up with Barça’s sports campus in Beijing.

FC Barcelona delegates will also meet with local UNICEF representatives. UNICEF has been working in China for over 30 years, with assistance from the Chinese government, to promote and protect children’s rights.

Apart from commercial and institutional meetings, FC Barcelona delegates will also establish contacts with local Chinese communications channels. President Rosell will be interviewed by CCTV, Forbes China and reporters from established news sources to better position Barça in the Asian market.

Cesc Fàbregas: "It’s the toughest challenge of my life"

David R. Jover
The new Barça number 4 said in his presentation that the club "has made my dream possible" and stressed that he’s fully prepared to "take on whatever role I’m given”.
There was maximum excitement in the Sala Paris. The return of Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona is not just any homecoming. Eight years after leaving for London, Cesc has come home to fulfill a dream.
Before starting to talk and answer the relevant questions, Cesc stared open-mouthed at the images being projected. A video showing images of Fabregas in the youth teams. "Watching these images it‘s like I’d never left," he said.
Thanks to the Club
2011-08-15_CESC_38.JPGThe effort made by Barça to sign him hasn’t gone unnoticed by Fabregas, who wanted to give his thanks to everybody concerned. "I want to thank all the people involved, from President Sandro Rosell, to Josep Guardiola, who has been very important to me" Cesc recognised. He also wanted to thank Thiago Alcantara who has given up the number 4 shirt, in a gesture which, according to Cesc, "honours him".
He also stressed that "it’s not easy to have confidence again in someone who left the club at youth level", referring to him going to England when he was 16.
The biggest challenge
"I'm ready to take on whatever role I’m given. I’ve chosen the harder path, but the most rewarding for me" said a Cesc Fabregas with very clear ideas. He also explained that coming to Barça, and weighing up the other options, "is the toughest challenge of my life". His initial goal, however, is "to improve a little what is already the best team in the world".
The new Barça number 4 made it very clear that he’ll give "up to my last drop of sweat for Barça" and that never, even being far away, "have I stopped loving Barça".
A summer dream
" 2011-08-15_CESC_50.JPGBarça have made my dream come true and I just hope that no one ever regrets it" said Fabregas adding that, today, "a great weight off my mind" has been lifted, signing for Barca. He also added: "You can tell by my face how happy I am”, even though he’s aware that some people will “demand twice as much from me".
Arsene Wegner, like a father
"Wegner has a negative image here, but it’s not true, I can assure you," said Cesc. For Fabregas the French manager "is really special and a second father to me, because he’s given me everything in the world of football". He also said that if today he’s a Barça first team player "it’s also thanks to Wenger".
